Basic Certifications Package
- This 16 hour course is highly recommended for healthcare professionals. The class will provide the allied health student with instruction and certification in the following areas:
BLS CPR – Learn to recognize life–threatening situations. Adult and pediatric CPR, two–rescuer CPR, airway obstruction and AED instruction will be covered. |
First Aid – Learn standard level first aid providing you with knowledge and skills required to provide care in an emergency situation. |
Bloodborne Pathogens – Learn safeguards and management procedures to protect yourselfagainst hazards caused by exposure to blood, human tissue and infectious materials. |

- Designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

First Responder
- Designed for Fire and Police personnel, Emergency Response Teams, and Athletic Trainers. Some of the courses taught are anatomy and function of the human body, lifting and moving, patient assessment, splinting, collaring and backboarding, medical, behavioral, and pediatric emergencies, and other related topics.

Bloodborne Pathogens
- Explains safe work practices for employees who work with human blood or tissue. It covers the definition of blood borne pathogens, protection from exposure, spill cleanup, and is required for anyone working with human blood or tissue.

Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (IRTB)
- Prepares emergency responders to react effectively, work cooperatively, and apply countermeasures in any incident involving explosives.

Prevention and Response to Suicide Bombings (PRSBI)
- Provides senior state, tribal and local emergency responders with the knowledge and skills needed to develop policies for the prevention, interdiction, response, and mitigation of a suicide bombing attack.

WMD Radiological/Nuclear Awareness Course
- This course presents a WMD radiological/nuclear overview designed for first responders and other personnel who, in the course of their normal duties, are likely to be the first to arrive on the scene of a radiological/nuclear incident. It focuses on the basics of radiation, possible health effects, hazard identification, proper notification procedures, and the radiological/nuclear threat.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Training and Exam
- The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program is designed to recognize dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. This rapidly growing nationally recognized program stresses responsible dog ownership for owners and basic training and good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

Pet First Aid/CPR
- This program concentrates on basic first aid care along with CPR for the pet owner or first responder. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency.

Wilderness Emergency Care
- This is an intensive 8 to 10 hour course for those who are involved in wilderness recreation, participants learn how to handle any emergency when medical resources are not close–by. Topics such as water safety, environmental emergencies, snakebites, and more are covered. Advanced splinting and bandaging techniques are practiced. Full textbook and ASHI certification card provided.
